Welcome to RMR!
This page has all the information you need for a wonderful stay at our private retreat! Below, you'll find detailed information about enjoying the retreat as well as important rules and policies to ensure your stay is safe and memorable.
Getting to RMR and Parking
Round Mountain Retreat is located at the end of Round Mountain Road, which is a private gravel and dirt road. The private road is only a little over a mile off the paved road to RMR. Google Maps will guide you accurately to our location (please use Google maps, as these backcountry roads can be confusing!). The private road to our property is shared with our neighbors and is partially gravel and partially dirt. We are actively working on improving the road. But in the meantime, please drive slowly and carefully. If you have any trouble finding RMR, which is tucked in at the end of the road for ultimate privacy—never hesitate to give us a call or text!
At the end of Round Mountain Road, you will see a sign indicating you've arrived at Round Mountain Retreat. Take a right at the fence and then a left at the end of the fence line to enter the gravel parking lot. You are welcome to park anywhere in the parking lot. If you have more than two cars, please notify us ahead of time.

Upon Arrival
The Elk cabin is right next to the parking lot. The Goose and Moose cabins, along with the luxury canvas tents Tamarack and Cedar, are a short walk along the forest path off of the parking lot. Each cabin and tent is clearly labeled with a sign on the front porch so you can easily find the lodging you selected. You can also refer to the map to quickly find your lodging.
Check-In and Check-Out

You will receive a code to unlock your cabin and private assigned bathroom before your arrival via email or your preferred contact method. Please note that the bathroom is assigned solely to you for the duration of your stay. The exception is the Elk cabin, which has its own bathroom.

Enjoying the Property
Round Mountain Retreat offers miles of private trails, outdoor games, an outdoor BBQ area, and more for you to enjoy. Please refer to the RMR Map to familiarize yourself with our property layout. With the exception of the small area designated for our facilities, the entire property is curated for your enjoyment. Trails, seating areas, pergolas, and recreational facilities are maintained for your use.

While our property offers access to state forest land, please be aware that neighboring properties are privately owned. Do not enter private property without explicit permission. Our map and on-site signage clearly designate property lines.

We hope you enjoy the beautiful hiking trails, 360-degree views, and recreation opportunities available right on our property. A short drive will bring you to pristine lakes, hiking trails, and the many natural attractions our region has to offer.
