The Meadow Loop
The one you can do before breakfast with a coffee still in your hand. It leaves the village, drops into an open grass clearing surrounded on all sides by conifers, and loops back. In June the lupines come up through the grass and the whole clearing turns purple and green.
What you see: the wildflower clearing, dense second-growth forest, deer at either end of the day, and the best light on the property about an hour before sunset.
